The AppSOC platform ingests Joint Solutions data from Atlassian AppSOC for Jira Security and aggregates it with security data from hundreds of other vendors. The solution automatically consolidates and deduplicates findings to reduce noise. Risk scoring is normalized across tools, and threats are correlated across attack surfaces.

AppSOC’s advanced contextual risk scoring prioritizes all results factoring in your business context. This includes, but goes far beyond traditional CVSS scoring, prioritizing the most critical vulnerabilities based on severity, exploitability, asset criticality, data classification, and network exposure. The results can eliminate more than 95% of noisy, redundant, and non-critical issues, so you can focus on what matters most.

AppSOC’s intuitive dashboard provides both executive summaries and technical views allowing you to drill-down and see the details or roll-up views across applications, business units or organizations.

Using data from Atlassian and other third-party products, AppSOC also maps software dependencies across the entire application hierarchy including libraries, microservices, applications, and hosts.

AppSOC for Jira Security is an app downloadable from the Atlassian Marketplace that allows you to identify, prioritize, and triage vulnerabilities directly through the Jira platform.

AppSOC for Jira Security enables you to manage and address application vulnerability findings from a broad range of scanners, including SAST, DAST, SCA, Container, IaC, CSPM, and infrastructure security tools. The app can be downloaded directly from the Atlassian Marketplace, and works within your Jira environment, with optional access to the full AppSOC interface.

The solutions ingest security data from any of the over 150 integrations supported by AppSOC. These findings are aggregated, deduplicated, normalized for risk scoring, and prioritized using AppSOC’s contextual risk engine (CoRE), which correlates your data with threat intelligence from EPSS, CISA KEV, and other sources. It also incorporates business-specific context - such as your asset criticality, data classification and network exposure. This prioritized intelligence is delivered directly through Jira Security in a single pane of glass, along with automated remediation workflows through JIRA ticketing.

Development teams can triage and create tickets from directly through Jira. AppSOC can generate Jira service tickets, based on configurable thresholds, and automatically populate them with all relevant details – so your developers can quickly identify and fix critical issues.

For more in-depth analysis, customers also directly access the AppSOC interface to drill deeper into vulnerability details, security posture, SLAs, and more. With one click on any application or vulnerability, you can immediately see more details on the business context, risk scoring, ownership, and even a breakdown of the application’s component microservices.
